Online distributor LibDib has entered the Illinois market, expanding its footprint to six states, including four of the top five U.S. markets for alcohol consumption. The company currently operates as a licensed wholesaler in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, and Wisconsin. Aimed at providing distribution for smaller wine and spirits producers, LibDib is a three tier-compliant online platform from which retail, restaurant, and bar accounts may order products listed by their suppliers. The company is partnered with RNDC, with RNDC president and CEO Tom Cole recently telling SND, “It provides us an opportunity to be in all 50 states with a whole new model that we can scale, and it can be an incubator for smaller brands that may then graduate into the RNDC portfolio.”
